7 TIPS FOR SUCCESS ON WORK, CAREERS & JOBS FOR SMART PEOPLE
Getting a job is one of the worst things you can do to support yourself. And thats the best tip of all.
Here are some reasons why.
1. Jobs for dummies.
I Googled "Jobs whats hot" for help finding a job position, I got 64 million in 0.19 seconds. "Hot jobs" 107 million in 0.25 seconds. Did you find one????
Getting a job may seem like a good idea, but there's one problem with it. It's dumb. You get out of high school, trade school, college or when you reach a certain age you assume it's time to go out and get a job.Just because everyone does it doesn't mean it's a good idea. Why is getting a job so dumb? Because you only get paid when you're working. Don't you see a problem with that. Have you ever considered that it might be better to be paid even when you're not working? Don't you think it would be much better if you got paid while you were on a beach, sleeping, eating, playing sports, on vacation, or going to school? Why not get paid whether you work or not, 24/7. Many people start out on this path, so don't feel bad if you'er just realizing you've been suckered. Who cares how many hours you work? Only you, its you're time, most of us dont care if you work 8 hours a week or 100. Smart people generate income 24/7. Something of value that we want or need, many of us will be happy to pay you for it. This can include building a web site, inventing something, starting a business, royalty income, investing,or anything that delivers ongoing value to people and generates income, and once in place it runs continuously whether you are there or not. From that moment on your time can be anything you want. You can decide what happens to your life. You can decide what you want. Nobody can control that. So decide that your life is going to be what you want it to be.
Here are some people who generate income from many sources.
Singers Avril Lavigne ($12 million) and Carrie Underwood ($7 million) made the cut on the heels of their mega-successful album releases. Lavigne scored a massive international hit with "Girlfriend," which she recorded in eight different languages. And though Underwood, the fourth season winner of American Idol, in 2005 demonstrated serious staying power on both the country and pop charts.Other celebrities included;Britney Spears, Lindsey Lohan, Bill Gates, M. Jordan, Diddy, Michael Strahan, Kobe Bryant, Rich Hilfiger. It's pretty easy to guess that Oprah Winfrey tops Forbes' most powerful celebrities list. Just think about how insanely rich she is (she made US$260-million in one year alone) Topping out the top 10 includes Tiger (Woods), Madonna (top musician) and Johnny (Depp, the top actor who brought in $92-million in one year 50 Cent: Is worth a lot more than that. US$70-million ($75-million) J.K. Rowling: She's No. 48 (US$32-million) and Daniel Radcliffe (US$15-million) Some are even dead; Kirt Kobain ($50 million) lead singer of Nirvana, Elvis ($42 million) king of rock, C. M. Shutz ($35 million) comic strip cartoonist and John Lennon ($24 million) Beatles member, Look at Ozzy &Sharon Osbourn thay have many sourcesof income ( music, contest shows, comercials, new reality show.) Also look at Aerosmith, the Beatles their income is comming from more than the music cds, posters, tee shirts & video games. Guitar hero is their biggest source of income stream. And look at Michael Jackson the King of pop alive or dead he is the biggest money maker and this year will be even bigger.
You think it's important to get a job to gain experience. Which experience would you like, working in Burger King, insurance company, machine shop, make plastic parts or paint a house? The experience to do a specific job - one that you earn money for a specific time . A job only gives you experience at that specific job, but you gain experience doing just about anything. Sitting around and doing nothing for a long time and you can call yourself an experienced tv soap analyst, philosepher, show participant and on. The problem with getting experience from a job is that you usually repeat the same experience over and over. You learn a lot in the beginning and then stagnate. This forces you to miss other opportunities that would be much more valuable. And if your skill ever became obsolete, then ask yourself what that experience will be worth in 10-20 years - or the knowledge of how to enjoy financial freedom for the rest of your life without ever needing a job again?Who are you? How do you want to live your life? How do you want to play the game?
3. Minimum wage club
Do you want to join the Minimum Wage Club? Its free, look around you .What do you see? Are these the surroundings you want? Have you fallen in love with $10.00 - 20.00 an hour? have you noticed who is realy making money? read the newspaper , it's not you! In the U S A about half your salary will go to taxes. The tax system is designed to disguise how much you're really giving up because some of the taxes are paid by your employer, and some are deducted from your paycheck. SO that $20. an hour is more like $ 10.00 happy, do you feel rich. It isn't hard to understand why emploees pay the most in taxes relative to income. After all who has more control over the tax system? Wall street, investors and business owners or you.You are at the bottom of the financial food chain.
4. The Carrot Principle
Many employees believe getting a job is the safest and most secure way to support themselves.Does putting yourself in a position where someone else can turn off all your income just by saying two words (You’re fired) sound like a safe and secure situation to you?The idea that a job is the most secure way to generate income is just silly. You can’t have security if you don’t have control, and employees have the least control of anyone. If you’re an employee Social conditioning is amazing. It’s so good it can even make people believe the exact opposite of the truth. Does having only one income stream honestly sound more secure than having 5 - 10 - 15 ? If you’re an employee, than you are part of a herd of catle, sheep, an ant farm. Having a job is one of the most stressful, riskiest, and depressing ways of generating income. For those of you who have a problem with working yourself to death by making someone else rich, is crazy. It's only a matter of time before you sacrifice your independent will for what? safety? It's only an illusion.
When you want to increase your income, do you have to beg your boss for more money? Did you work your ass off extra hours, bin a good employee? Did you know that the word boss means master? Another meaning of the word boss is a cow . And in many video games, the boss is the evil dude that you have to kill at the end of a level. Then what does that make you? Nothing. Is working for somebody else the only way to live? Yet that’s exactly what most people are doing, locking themsleves into being peasants. As part of their obedience training, employees must be taught how to dress, talk, move, and so on. We can’t very well have employees thinking for themselves.
It takes a lot of effort to tame a human being into an employee. The first thing you have to do is break the human’s independent will. A good way to do this is to give them a weighty policy manual filled with nonsensical rules and regulation to become more obedient, fearing that s/he could be disciplined at any minute for something incomprehensible. Thus, the employee will likely conclude it’s safest to simply obey the bosses commands without question. If you can’t call your boss a jerk now and then without fear of getting fired, you’re no longer free. It’s as if getting a job somehow drains all the free will out of people and turns them into spineless drones.
6. Jobs at home or Fear.
My old boss was a a tight-fisted hand at the grindstone, a squeezing, wrenching, grasping, scraping, old sinner! And he made me fear him. Fear is very powerfull. One of the greatest fears you’ll confront is that you may not have any real value to offer others. Maybe being an employee and getting paid $20.00 an hour is the best you can do. Maybe you just aren’t worth that much. That kind of thinking is all just part of your conditioning. You’ve been told all sort of lies as to why you can’t do that.Remember, beliefs are not right, wrong, true or false, they're just past opinions which can be changed on your command. The fact is, you can CHOOSE to think in ways that will support you instead of ways that don't. Instead of taking responsibility for what's going on in their lives, some people choose to play the role of victim. Of course, any "victim's" predominant thought process is "poor me." And presto, through the law of intention that's literally what they get; "poor," If you work through your fears instead of repressing them, you’ll soon emerge on the doorstep of courage. And when that happens, you’ll have the will to actually do something about your situation and start living like the powerful human being you were meant to be instead of the domesticated pet you’ve been trained to be. If any of this makes you mad, that’s a step in the right direction. Anger is a higher level of consciousness. Anger brings change, apathy, fear or no emotion brings nothing. So be afraid but do something. What’s the alternative to getting a job? The alternative is to remain jobless and generate income through other means. One of the simplest and most accessible ways is to start your own business orjobs at home, computer, internet jobs. Whatever work you’d otherwise do via employment, find a way to provide that same value directly to those who will benefit most from it. It takes a bit more time to get going, but working for someone takes time too, your freedom is easily worth the initial investment of time and energy. You already know deep down that getting a job isn’t what you want. So don’t let anyone try to tell you otherwise. Learn to trust your inner wisdom. Years from now you’ll look back and realize it was one of the best decisions you ever made. For starters it’s an amazing right to have, rather than needing to be born or married into the right economic class. Not being wealthy no longer means that you are required to become a servant or employee, surrendering the bulk of the value of your efforts to your owner.
7. Dead-End Job , your career is killing you
Office professionals take 850,930 sick days a year, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. While some of those days might be mental-health days or plain old playing hooky, some illnesses plague the office worker. Here are a few of the diseases you might be at risk for . Adult Onset Asthma The culprit: Office printers, which emit fine particles into the air. A recent Australian study found that office printers can damage the lungs in the same way cigarettes do. Study author Lidia Morawska found that almost a third of printers emit dangerous levels of particles. Symptoms: Coughing while exercising, shortness of breath, wheezing when you breathe, and tightness in the chest Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) The culprit: Prolonged sitting. A New Zealand study found that DVT occurs in 34 percent of desk workers and in 21 percent of those who travel by plane. Symptoms: Only about half of people affected have any symptoms, which include swelling and soreness in the legs along a vein. DVT happens when blood clots form in the legs, which can be deadly if a clot breaks off and moves to the lungs, blocking blood flow and causing a pulmonary embolism. Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) The culprit: Poor posture when sitting at the computer, according to a study in the Indian Journal of Medical Sciences Symptoms: Pain involving the nerves, tendons, muscles, and supporting structures of the body. In the United States, MSD accounts for almost a third of missed workdays. Working the graveyard shift will soon be listed as a "probable" cause of cancer. Scientists suspect that overnight work is dangerous because it disrupts the body’s biological clock. In addition, a hormone which can suppress tumor development is normally produced at night. People who work nights also tend to sleep less. Not getting enough sleep makes your immune system vulnerable to attack, and less able to fight off cancerous cells. Deprasion, bordom, and many many more.
The article is a motivational piece that might act as a little nudge for some people to at least explore some other options while still relying on that nice paycheck every week.

If you want to create wealth, it is imperative that you believe that you are at the steering wheel of your life; that you create every moment of your life, especially your financial life. If you don't believe this, then you must believe you have little control over your life and that financial success has nothing to do with you. That is not a very rich attitude.
